Memorial Day Weekend

For Memorial Day Weekend we decided to head to the city and do some swimming. It's a good thing we chose a hotel with an indoor pool because it was a very rainy weekend! The kids had a lot of fun!

You gotta love the boogers! He had two teeth coming in that weekend and his nose just wouldn't stop running!

Poor Christian couldn't do a lot of swimming, but he was a good sport about it!

Father and Sons Outing/ Girls Night

Pher took the boys (minus Brendan) on a Father and Sons Campout last month.

They went up to Uintah Canyon. Here are some of the pictures they took.

Sammy was pretty bummed that she couldn't go camping with the boys, so we decided to start our own tradition and have a girls night together. When I asked her what she wanted to do, she said "Paint our toenails and watch High School Musical!" So, that's what we did! It was so much fun!

Christian's Big Ouch!!!

On May 12th, Christian broke his arm doing a Flying Side Kick in his Karate class. He was such a brave kid! From what his Sensei said, he didn't cry for more than a minute! So we took him to the ER. (Of course the bad things never happen during clinic hours!) He did soooo well! He didn't even cry when they had to set his arm! What a relief!

A week later, I took him in to get his splint replaced with a cast. Dr. Mason told him that he should make up a better story about how he broke it! Christian thought that was pretty funny! Anyway, he got to choose the color of his cast, and of course he chose blue. Now he's looking forward to being able to get it off. Hopefully, in the next couple of weeks. Then he can finally start swimming lessons!

Mother's Day '09

Look Who's Walking!

Well, we've been waiting for this for a few month's now. Brendan is finally walking! He took his first steps a few days before his birthday, but it has taken us several tries to get it caught on camera. Every time he saw it he would automatically sit down! Little Stinker!!!

The Birthday Boys!

JR and Brendan both celebrated their birthdays this month. JR turned 7 on the 8th and Brendan turned the big #1 on the 11th. JR insisted that they share their birthday party. What a sweetheart!

Last month the Elder's Quorum in our ward held a Pinewood Derby. They invited the kids to build their own cars as well. Needless to say, it was a big hit! The kids had so much fun putting together their cars!



Christian and JR ended up racing for the Championship! It was a very close race. So close that they had to race twice! We even had video footage! (I will try to add that later, my computer is being retarded.) Sammy's car did pretty well, too! She took 5th place.

After a few minutes, the judges decided that JR's car took 1st Place and Christian's 2nd. Mommy was pretty happy with that because she helped build JR's car! (Who ever said that women can't build cars?! Ha Ha!)
