The Birthday Boys!

JR and Brendan both celebrated their birthdays this month. JR turned 7 on the 8th and Brendan turned the big #1 on the 11th. JR insisted that they share their birthday party. What a sweetheart!

Last month the Elder's Quorum in our ward held a Pinewood Derby. They invited the kids to build their own cars as well. Needless to say, it was a big hit! The kids had so much fun putting together their cars!



Christian and JR ended up racing for the Championship! It was a very close race. So close that they had to race twice! We even had video footage! (I will try to add that later, my computer is being retarded.) Sammy's car did pretty well, too! She took 5th place.

After a few minutes, the judges decided that JR's car took 1st Place and Christian's 2nd. Mommy was pretty happy with that because she helped build JR's car! (Who ever said that women can't build cars?! Ha Ha!)

Happy Birthday Sammy!

Samantha turned a big 4 years old on February 10th. We just can't believe how time flies! She is growing up so fast!

Happy Valentines Day!

The boys had a fun time celebrating Valentines Day at school. They came home with these huge envelopes that they had made, filled with fun cards and treats!

Sammy had a little Valentine party at Grandma's Preschool. She came home with a cute little valentine's bucket. Grandma and Aunt Jacque are always going all out for their little parties. She had a lot of fun!

Brendan isn't quite old enough to eat candy, but Grandma and Grandpa just couldn't leave the little ChubChub out! They gave him these sweet little stacking cups that he can munch on. (He's teething, so everything he touches ends up in his mouth!)

Christmas '08

Christmas was great this year! We were able to spend a lot more time with each other. The boys had a two week break! I sure don't remember having that long of a Christmas Break as a kid! Pher was able to take some time off work, too. That was definitely a delightful change!


The kids woke up early Christmas morning to see that Santa had brought them what they had asked him for.

Let it Snow!

The boys were so excited for our first big snow storm! They love to go out and shovel the driveway. They did an awesome job!

Sammy is always tagging along with the boys. She loves to do everything that they do.

But the poor little thing freezes so fast! She had only been out for a few minutes and look at her little face! Its all red!

Decorating the Tree

The kids always look forward to decorating the Christmas Tree. Especially this year! They started asking if we could put the tree up right after Halloween;)
